Normally, I would do a "Wordless Wednesday" Today, I thought I would share with you, a poem my son wrote about his Gardening Moma! He wrote this poem for his Literature class. The poem had to be about someone who inspires him by doing something that brings them great joy!
Mom's Garden Love
Listen Children and you shall hear,
sounds from the garden of Moma Hammer so dear.
She put the seeds in the ground,
and gave them a little pound.
Over them she sprinkled water,
then stopped a moment to ponder.
She pointed and up came the tomato's,
pointed again and out sprouted the potato's.
She pointed again it was just so silly,
how up came the lillies.
Again she pointed and out came the poppies,
then she thought, its time to go seed shopping.
I was so touched by my sons poem that I wanted to share it with all my Garden Friends!
I love how he added my seed shopping addiction!
Thank you David my sweet little boy.
Your poem is beautiful and I will always treasure it.
Happy Gardening my Friends!!!
That's adorable! What a fabulous son you have!
