My Spitfire Nasturtium's from Renee's Garden are doing very well! Im hoping with a little training they will be climbing my wooden ladder in no time! Since this old rickety ladder is in no way safe for climbing, it is now part of the garden.
I also have some Pinapple Sage, Hemigraphis "Blackberry Waffle" and some Oregano hanging out with the Nasturtiums
Slowely, my Spitfires are making the climb.
I also added some Spitfires to my veggie garden. I used old tent poles to make arches over parts of my garden.
They are starting to wrap themselves around the pole and grow up. I cant wait to see the tent poles completly covered and mixed with my veggies. It will be a great show!
Happy Gardening!
I'm growing Nasturtium "Spitfire" for the GROW project. Thanks, to Renee's Garden for the seeds.
Spitfire is such a great name for climbing nasturtiums! Mine were just labelled 'Trailing, Mixed' ;(
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute use for an old ladder! Love it!
ReplyDeleteawesome! I can't believe I missed sunflower guerilla gardening day! I might have to do some of that this week. Everything comes later to Iowa, you know. lol. Your spitfire are so much more lush than mine, but yours are also about a month ahead. Can't wait to see mine grow like yours.
ReplyDeleteyour nasties look great - they'll be fantastic on your old ladder!
