~ International Sunflower Guerrilla Gardening Day ~

May 1st is International Sunflower Guerrilla Gardening Day.

I planted alot of seeds today! Althought I planted them mostly in my own yard, I gave a few packets away to friends. This was they can add curb appeal to thier homes.

I planted:

Heirloom Titan
Autumn Beauty
Cinnamon Sun
Teddy Bear
Sungold

Sunflowers from last year!

Emerging into life.

These make a nice wall!

I love how fuzzy these are. All these sunflowers attract wonderful Bees!

Happy Sunflower Gardening!!!

  1. I sowed Teddy Bear as well :) and also Dwarf Yellow Spray, which has multiple flowerheads. The weather has turned now, so they're all being thoroughly watered!

  2. I love sunflowers and will always have a large selection in my garden. They do attract alot of bees. I even have some small light green brested birds that like to skeletonize the leaves. Dosent seem to bother the sunflowers though.
